The men's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision on the road against the Onondaga Lazers on Saturday afternoon. The Raiders trailed 1-0 and took some chances late in the game; the Lazers took advantage and found the back of the net for the 3-0 win.
The Raiders managed four shots in the contest and FM's Jonathan Mendoza recorded five saves in goal.
"We had to make some personnel changes today and after making those changes, we settled in and for the next 60 minutes we played well, said Leggiero. I am the type of coach that would rather go for the game tying goal then settle for the 1-0 loss. While we were pushing high in the last three minutes they managed two goals."
FM looks to get back to their winning ways on Tuesday, September 4th when they host the Hudson Valley Vikings at 4:00 p.m.
