Fulton-Montgomery Men's Basketball delivered a big win on Saturday afternoon, knocking off No. 7 nationally ranked North Country Community College, 77–65, in a wire-to-wire statement victory.
The Raiders set the tone early and never looked back, racing out to a 40–25 halftime lead behind a relentless defensive effort and an efficient offensive attack. FMCC shot over 52 percent from the floor in the game and buried 10 three-pointers, keeping the Saints scrambling for answers.
Andre Jackson led the charge with a dominant performance, pouring in a game-high 25 points on an efficient 9-of-12 shooting, including a perfect 3-for-3 from beyond the arc. Jackson also added six rebounds and two assists while consistently coming up big in momentum moments.
The Raiders' balanced attack continued with Craig Guest, Jr. scoring 14 points and pulling down seven rebounds, while Jeravontae Russell chipped in 11 points and three assists.
Inside, Mckenzey Johnson was a force on the glass, grabbing 14 rebounds to go along with six points.
The Raiders will look to carry this momentum into their next contest when they take on Herkimer College. They will travel to take on the Generals on January 27th at 5:00 p.m.
