The women's volleyball team has earned the #3 overall seed in the 2022 Region III Volleyball Championship Tournament. Ten teams have been selected for this year's two pool tournament.
Region 3 Volleyball Tournament Seedings and Details
FMCC will begin pool play on Saturday, October 29th beginning at 10am. They will take on Genesee, Herkimer, and Finger Lakes. All matches on Saturday are 3 sets to 25 points.
The top two finishers from each pool will move on to the North A District and North B District Region III Championship on Sunday, October 30th. Matches are best of 5 sets with decisive game to 15 points.
"The team has spent the last several weeks preparing for the Regional Tournament. Hosting and winning the conference tournament has motivated the team going into this weekend, said Coach Olyer. Our objective is to stay mentally strong through the weekend and remain focused on the goals we have set for ourselves all season. We're going into this weekend knowing that the level of play is going to be highly competitive. We are focused and determined to win the regional title and advance to nationals."
