The Fulton-Montgomery Community College women's volleyball team concluded its impressive 2025 campaign as the Region 3 District B Runner-Up after falling to Finger Lakes Community College, 3-0, in the championship match.
The Raiders battled hard in each set but ultimately came up short by scores of 25-21, 25-22, and 25-12. With the loss, FMCC finished the season with a 12-8 overall record.
Offensively, Marisa Dygon led the way with five kills and two blocks, while Briana Santiago added eight assists and eight digs. Libero, Samara Hunt anchored the defense with a team-high 15 digs and five service aces. Kieonna Christmas and Annika Fedullo each contributed at the net, combining for four kills and six total blocks.
Marisa Dygon, Annie Fedullo, and Samara Hunt were named to the All-Tournament Team.
"It was an incredible pleasure and honor coaching this special team this season. We have made some fantastic memories and had a blast along the way. I am so proud to be a part of this team and amazing program," said Head Coach Tina Olyer.
Despite the defeat, the Raiders capped a strong season that featured consistent growth, key conference victories, and a memorable postseason run. FMCC's appearance in the Region 3 Championship highlights the program's fourth straight appearance.
