Volleyball Sweeps Jamestown and Genesee to Extend Winning Momentum

The Fulton-Montgomery Community College women's volleyball team delivered a strong performance on Saturday afternoon defeating Jamestown Community College in straight sets: 25–20, 25–16, 25–17.

Annika Fedullo led the charge with a match-high 13 kills. Olivia Linart was also key, contributing 5 kills, 5 aces, and 12 digs for a well-rounded performance.

Fulton-Montgomery's offense fired efficiently, recording a .216 team hitting percentage behind the steady setting of Briana Santiago, who notched 32 assists. The Raiders' aggressive serving produced 12 aces, with four coming from Kaylee Colabello and another five from Linart.

In the second match of the day, the Lady Raiders defeated Genesee in straight sets: 25-23, 25-16, and 25-22.

The Fulton-Montgomery Community College women's volleyball team continued their strong play on Tuesday night, defeating Genesee Community College in straight sets (25–23, 25–16, 25–22) on the road.

Fedullo powered the Fulton-Montgomery offense with a team-high eight kills and adding six block assists. Kieonna Christmas followed closely with six kills on a stellar .455 hitting percentage, along with three total blocks.

Marisa Dygon and Sophia Dugan each chipped in six kills, helping to keep Genesee's defense off balance, while Olivia Linart contributed six kills and three service aces to round out a deep offensive effort.

Setter Briana Santiago dished out 28 assists and adding three blocks and four digs. Defensively, Samara Hunt anchored the back row with a team-high 13 digs, while Kaylee Colabello contributed 11 to help limit Genesee's scoring runs.

The Lady Raiders travel to Corning on October 18th in their final regular season POD match. They will take on Onondaga and Corning.
